The Government has decided to implement the 261.8 km Murun–Uliastai road project through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) arrangement. On December 25, 2025, the selection committee presented detailed information about the project to the management of interested business entities.

Following this, Khurgatai Khairkhan LLC officially submitted the required documents to the Public-Private Partnership Center to participate in the selection process for the project.

The Murun–Uliastai road project is of strategic importance as it aims to support regional development, stimulate economic activity, and improve interprovincial road connectivity.
