PPP Center and Türkiye Explore Opportunities to Strengthen Cooperation on Public-Private Partnerships

ULAANBAATAR, Mongolia – Mr. Kh. Altai, Acting Director of the PPP Center State-Owned Enterprise, met with Mr. Kadir Ceryan, Commercial Counsellor at the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Mongolia, on 18 June 2026 to discuss opportunities for strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of public-private partnerships (PPPs).

During the meeting, Mr. Ceryan highlighted Türkiye’s extensive experience in implementing PPP projects since the 1980s. He shared the country’s experience in delivering major infrastructure projects in the health, energy, and transport sectors, including the Eskişehir City Hospital and Istanbul Airport, both of which have been developed through PPP arrangements.

The parties also exchanged views on expanding trade and economic cooperation between Mongolia and Türkiye, increasing bilateral trade, and exploring opportunities for collaboration in the development and implementation of PPP projects.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides agreed to strengthen cooperation by sharing knowledge and best practices in the PPP sector while working together to promote greater economic engagement and contribute to the expansion of bilateral trade, which currently exceeds USD 25 million.
