Parliamentary Committee Reviews Draft Laws Accompanying the 2026 State Budget
Ulaanbaatar, October 14, 2025 — The Standing Committee on Budget of the State Great Khural reviewed draft laws and resolutions submitted alongside the draft Law on the 2026 State Budget of Mongolia and decided to advance them for further discussion.
First Joint Coordination Committee Meeting of the JICA–Mongolia PPP Capacity Development Project Successfully Held
The first meeting of the Joint Coordination Committee for the technical cooperation project “Project for Capacity Development in Public-Private Partnership Management for Sound Fiscal Management,” jointly implemented by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the Ministry of Economy and Development, and the Ministry of Finance, was successfully held on September 18, 2025.
PPP Center Managers Achieve International CP3P Certification
With support from ADB, senior staff at the PPP Center have successfully completed international training and earned the Certified PPP Professional (CP3P) credential — a globally recognized qualification in public–private partnership management.
Khangai Region to Benefit from Renewable Energy PPP Project
On July 14, 2025, the Khangai Regional Council held an expanded meeting in Tsetserleg, Arkhangai Province, where it approved the implementation of a renewable energy project under a PPP arrangement.

Provincial Airports to Be Upgraded via PPP
On April 2, 2025, the PPP Center conducted a professional advisory session for the Civil Aviation Authority of Mongolia. As part of the 2024–2028 Government Action Plan and the 2025 National Development Plan, Mongolia is launching a project to upgrade and expand airport infrastructure in Khovd, Khuvsgul, Dornod, and Umnugobi provinces.
